Why won’t my PS5 turn on and there’s no beep?

Hey everyone,
I’m hoping someone here might have some advice. My PS5 just died on me completely and I’m at a loss! I was in the middle of a [mention game if relevant] session last night when it suddenly shut off. Now, it won’t turn back on at all. No lights, no beeps, nothing. It’s like it’s completely dead.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Checked the power cable: Made sure it’s securely plugged into both the console and the wall outlet. I even tried a different outlet and a different power cable, just to be sure.
- Checked for obstructions: Made sure the vents aren’t blocked and there’s good airflow around the console.
- Tried the power button: Held it down for a long time, but still no response.
I’m really worried something’s seriously wrong with it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on what else I could try before resorting to contacting Sony support?
