Fixing “Cannot sign in using another player’s sign in ID.”

When you try to login into the PlayStation Network with another sign-in ID you’ve created, you might fail to proceed and will receive a message telling you: “Cannot sign in using another player’s sign-in ID.“.

This actually happens when you have gone to the network screen and changed an existing account’s email and password and replaced them with new data.

Based on user experience, in order to work around this issue, all you have to do is go to [create new user] and use a new email and password and this shall work.

I have one problem, making a new profile would make me lose my 20+ hours worth of “Marvels SpiderMan”
Is there anyway to fix this

So I disconnected my PlayStation 4 by accident, and when I plugged it back in, it prompted me to set it up as though everything had been reset (country, language, ect…)

Hold down the PS button in the middle of your PS4 controller to access the Quick Menu, and highlight the Power option. 3. Select “Switch User” from the menu on the right, and you’ll be brought to an account selection screen.

When I go to log in, it says you cannot login in using another player’s sign-in ID, even though my PSN profile is still there with the PlayStation Plus logo on it.

To access the Quick Menu, press and hold the PS button in the center of your PS4 controller. Then, select the Power option. 3. Click “Switch User” in the menu on the right to see the account selection page.
